Ping issue. Look here.

So I downloaded CS:S and started playing it and I did the net_graph 1 command in the cfg file and it displayed a bunch of info in the lower right corner like fps and ping. My ping was like 9-15ish and when I pressed tab and displayed all the players names the ping was like 35ish.

Then for some reason my computer messed up I had to format it completely. The 2nd time I installed CS:S and did the net_graph 1 command, the ping at the lower right corner is 25-30ish and when I pressed tab, the ping was like 60-80ish.....WTF???

I'm not understanding what is going on. Is there a way to tweak and improve the ping?

umm... think of this, ur internet is getting used more than last time, or the server your playing on is far away, or has bad connections, kapesh?

Oh the horror! The ping is 80! Damn, that's nothing. I remember back in the olden days when 150 ping was dreamy.
