Hey.
I just purchased the orange box off of steam and was playing Episode Two... Everything was fine until I got to the combine bridge convoy scene and I noticed that the combine elite soldiers were pink. The regular soldiers were just fine, but the elites were pink. I never had this problem with Half-Life 2 but it also happens when I play Garry's Mod. I tried varifying the game cache and that didn't help.

i kinda wanna see a pic of this.

you could always try using a custom model.

Here ya go...

They're kind of far away, but I haven't gone past the bridge yet and I don't know how to spawn them with the console.

I've gotten a better picture in Garry's Mod...

I've also noticed that the Nova Prospekt guards are yellow...

What are your computer specs? Also make sure your graphics card is not overheating. Is there anything else in the game that doesn't look right?

Specs (I'm note entirely sure what's relevant and what's not)

Operating Sytem: Windows Vista Home Premium
BIOS: Pheonix -AwardBIOS
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 2038MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 10
Video Card: Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family
Video Card Memory: Approx. 256 MB

I don't think my graphics card is overheating because nothing else is wrong except for the colour of the soldiers and the soldiers are just fine in Half-Life 2.

I'm not entirely sure...

Well guys, I just finished installing a new GeForce 8800 Ultra card and the colours aren't messed up anymore! I guess the moral of the story is; if you ever notice that even a slight detail in a game is messed up, than go out and buy an expensive new graphics card. It's fun.
BTW; I can play Crysis now, woo!

Nah, getting card that supports SM 3.0 is sufficient ;)
