Pirate Race

[EVIL]

This is an alien race who are dirty selfish scumbags, they sell worthless cheap technology to primitive races to "improve their wellfare" or better said, fill the pirates money pouch. These are scary creatures and If they had the chanse to get some valuable object they would even sell their own grandmother

As you can see It isn't finished yet, I need some good Idea for the rest of the head.

The 2 metal balls in the nose are piercings they recieve when they become a man. BTW: He breaths trough the 6 tiny sliths above the piercing.

And some people might recognise the design a bit, I used a similar concept for some demon I posted a while ago..

I think you should extend the rod on that nose piercing so that you can see it...currently it looks like a third set of eyes.

other than that good job, as I've set before I like the way you colour/shade reminds me a bit of the ID trademark art-direction.

as for the rest of the head perhaps you should just keep the simply round-baldy head, perhaps add some tribal skin-paint/tatoos to his scalp.

also depending on what you're going for, remember to add slight changes to each side of the face.

for the time being, here is a little update.

He looks a tad more EVIL now.

I will Go all the way when I will make the very EVIL version, this is jsut the normal one, there will be 3 versions, one GOOD, one normal and one EVIL

And Yes, I will make changes to each side once I got the head finished. I am thinking of giving him one big scar across his face or one of those tribal tatto's

I've got no crits whatsoever, except that I also thought for a second that his nose thing was a set of eyes. Damn good stuff, as per usual.

If you added a slightly weaker version of the nose-thing reflections to his big red eyes, they'd look a little more mucusey and eye-like I think.

The reflections on the piercing make it look like eyes, so imagine what it would do for the actual eyes!

Edit: You were asking about the eyes on CA.org, coinicidentally, so meh advices were surprisingly relevant.

I'd still put a bar in the nose. Or maybe a ring, connected at either ballbaring. So people know its a nose ring of sorts.

I've been thinking...maybe you could fix the nose ring simply by removing that black/dark reflective spot and replace it with a more metalic grey-ish colour...problem is that they look like pupils...

I've often found that even with alien designs, to keep them recognisable and grounded in familiar appearances, even if its just a little bit. And often the mix of quite alien and quite familiar goes well together.

No harm in trying, can always undo it
