PK @ CPL... is this the right choice??

Painkiller has been picked as the game for cpl, ya i know ... old, but what are the opinions over here about it? i think its discraceful that a game that hardly has a community gets picked, i mean seriously its a rare day that painkiller has over 50 servers.

a lot of other games have been put up to be picked instead such as ut2k4 and has caused quite an outrage surrounding cpl

PK is a good 1 on 1 game, but yea UT2k4 should have been chosen imo.

It's about $$$. I'd guess the developers of painkiller offered CPL a bit of money to get their game played. It's good exposure for a large number of players.

You high? The only game that has better or even weapons then painkiller is Unreal 2. The guns are perfect for mp.

Exposing some of the CS kiddies to more games might add some needed variety to new games coming out, instead of CS clones.
