So, whats this game about? I've heard of it just never played it.

BT upgraded me to 2MB/s ten minutes ago. Perfect timing. :)

I'll give it a go now. Last time I tried it it crashed out to desktop :(

I got a C++ error the first time, but it seems OK now.

Well what do you guys think about the new version? Is it any better gameplay wise than the older versions? I didn't really like the last version to well i was just wondering if this one was worth the download.

Hmm I've d/led it twice and the game keeps crashing to desktop every two seconds. In the menus, while loading the game, and when changing the settings. :|

150 megs for a patch? WTF

Downloaded, installed, tried to play.

Crash.

Bad PoA launch.

Still waiting for it to come out of beta, or at least have a pretty stable version that they're sticking with. Don't like downloading new beta's regularly to fix a few bugs.

Downloaded, installed and just wanted to have a gander at what the PoA boys have been busy with, but it crashed and paused on the game loading screen. A quick drop back to the desktop and reload later, and it all seemed fine. Ive had a gander at the new stuff, and while its not bad, its not mind blowing either.

The textures are still a little 'base texture', no real detail in them (bar the weapons, they arent too shabby). The maps....hmm what can i say, I think some work is required here, they all suffer from being too square. Its like the mappers on their team have a problem with curved surfaces. If there is a reason for this then im sorry, but in my book curved stuff always looked better than straight, square worlds. The gameplay isnt particularly my cup of tea, its too close to CSS for my liking, but the idea is nice and can be developed.

Overall, this mod is not bad, it just isnt good enough for me to play it for too long, indeed maybe I havent given it a chance but with each iteration I tend to play for a day or so then uninstall. Im waiting for the lads to make something that 'snags' me in...

Exactly what I think.

It didnt even work for me. I spend 14 minutes downloading + another like 3-4 minutes and when it gets too 100% completion it just sits there, nothing pops up like its suposed to. I'm gonna try it again, and see if it'll work this time.

its not a 100+ meg patch, its a 40 patch, 100+ full exe.

and I like it better then the last version..but that strategy thing is annoying as hell :(

all in all, 9/10
