All you can do is walk around town and look at stuff, it's pretty naff at the moment, me and farrowlesparrow took a walk around in it a while back, it wasnt that impressive, although the idea is in the right place.....

Sure, you can only walk around and hunt crystals now.
But the devs have said that they are releasing a update towards the end of the year, which will involve monsters and magic =)

Anyone wanna go monster-hunting in January?

all i´m asking here is a little support!!!!!!!
it´s true that FOR NOW it´s an animated chat room but in they are planning to release a really nice version of the game in the end of the year (with fights and magic and all the rest of the things normal ni a MMORPG) but I thought that maybe i could gain a little support to the project here in the forums.WHAT OBVIOUSLY DIDN´T HAPPENED!

I mean imagine that would actually turn into something big and reach 500000 subscribers like EQ and FFXI and companies would start lowering the prices for the monthly subscription ( i hv no dreams of total elimination of it)REALLY 15$ A MONTH IS WAY TOO MUCH. if we can do something about it then i think we should!

what I meant whit IT´S GONNA BLOW YOUR MIND was that it had professional quality and it´s free.

And i refuse to play MMORPGS while they don´t stop stealing us with always-increasing prices and the b******* that the complexity of the games is higher, bla bla bla. Did you know that there are only 3 people encharge of maintenance (finding bugs...) on SWG and there were 9 on EQ??? How can there be less people doing more things-WE PAY MORE!

You dont seem to understand how to run a mmorpg, it costs alot of money to run, you need to pay server costs, websites for mmorpg are normally alot bigger then normall games too, you seem to be thinking that sony are rolling around in cash and driveing around in limos? there not bastards who are increaseing the prices cus there some kind of evil company.

Also your not paying for just the game in its box, your paying for months worth of addons, patches normally add whole new things, not just bug fixes like normall games, also paying for Add on packs that come out (SWG is haveing a HUGE one next year)

So yea.. shut up.

And I'll end by saying planeshift is planeshate, theres alot more mmorpgs out there that ARE free as well.. you should give them a try to be honest, come back to planeshift when its got more updates

Oh and as it happans, who gives a shit how many people work on bugs.. as it stands swg is not a buggy game, I cant say the same for EQ as I have never played it, but those "only 3 people" seem to be doing there job.
