planethalflife has *gasp* old news!

Saturday planethalflife.com put up that the Softimage XSI "tutorial"(i'll get to those quotes in a second) was now available.

Here are the problems with this.
The four videos that are now available on gamespot, were available on softimage . com about a month ago.

Here is the second problem.....and this is actually Softimages little fib....
the videos really aren't much of a "tutorial". There isn't any showing of how to do something from start to finish.
All they do in the videos is go over everything that will be availible in the HL2 SDK.

So....................PHL is stupid..........don't use game spot's dumb ass downloader program that you HAVE TO USE.....to DL sutff from them...........just go to

and download the movies there......

The vids are really cool too. For anyone who hasn't seen them.

I check phl for everything HL. I ignor anything posted about HL2 because its allmost guaranteed I will hear it here first. No disrespec to phl but this site knows HL2 and valve better than anyone else.

actually crazy person fileplanet is the crappest, you can get 500 mb files in 30 minutes off of gamespot....so you go ahead and wait 30 more minutes for your download to start, cause im already done

If you want fast downloads, www.happypuppy.com Ignor the fruity name, fastest downloads anywhere, sometimes they start off a bit slow, but usually I get around 400 kbs. So yeah, fileplanet is gay beyond all reason, I get about 60 kbs after waiting 77 minutes. It's horseshit. You can go to fileshack and wait 3 minutes to get a 100 kbs+ which btw still sucks. Happypuppy as no wait at all, you just need to register, and it's free. It's the best website for downloading, go check it out =D

yeah using gamespot DLX is bs, because it's spyware. after i downloaded that bs, it like opened up a door or something and i started getting internet hijack attempts, and TONS of spyware going straight to registry... pissed me off. i deleted about 800 files in one night all because of the damned gamespot DLX

I dont mind waiting for a wile on fileplanet to dl something. For the most part things never screw up with them.

I went to the link to dl the xsi tutorials. Takes you to an softimage website page, and then when you pick which one you want to dl, it takes you to fileplanet...
