Firstly can I just say now that I know it's pre-beta footage we've seen so far, i know the arm length and posture is going to be worked on and I know it's all subject to change but.....

Does anyone else think the CT model we have seen so far looks more like a scuba diver than a counter terrorist?

I think they are more realistically proportioned compared to the fat dwarves of CS ^^

But then I am a lanky arse :p

I haven't watched my videos in a while...I get to excited if i do. need to stay away til it comes around

they look fine

yea i suppose i agree, but cs:s shouldnt really be 'fine' or 'ok' or 'average' it should be awesome! so maybe they do need improving a bit, but i would never had said anything if you other guys hadnt noticed it. i thinkt eh proportions look just as they should

they do look pretty assy... but hopefully they will omprove over time and or be able to replace them w custom jobs... teh CZ models are pretty nice, maybe an upgraded version of those.

I think the models do look a bit strange but it's nothing too bad.

I love the new models!!!!!!!!

The models are fine for the most part, but what really bothers me is the animation of the legs. The legs look very goofy when strafing and a little weird when running.

It's also almost as if the textures for the models aren't as realistic-looking as the current ones for CS. I'm not really sure about this though, because I haven't seen the new ones close up.

The main thing that bugs me is the animation.

they dont look fine they look like they suffer from a hunch back

okay are you going to stand ridgid backed when trying to keep your gun within a reasonable area so you can fire at any time. All SWAT people are like this when they are walking with a gun. Also, I personally really like all of the animations, the proportions and everything, I think they look kickass. But i can see where people dont like the leg animations it kinda looks like there in low gravity or they weigh 20 pounds...

The running and leg animations look great to me - much better then what is currently on offer (in CS 1.6).

I agree that they look a little too hunched, but I think that the 1.6 models are too straight, as if they have rods up their @sses.

Hopefully they tweak it so its a mix of the two.

Remember, the photos we've seen and the upcoming beta just showcase 1 T model 1 CT model.

Yeah, I'm not really complaining about running, but the strafing just looks ridiculous to me. Like the legs go too far sideways or something. Although all this doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things because CS:S will be amazing no matter how you look at it.
