PLEASE ANYONE WITH A BRAIN HELP ME OUT. GRAPHIC PROBLEMS WITH 8xAA!!!!!!!!!!!

can someone please help me out! for some reason i dont have an option for 8x anti aliasing. it only goes up to 6x and that looks like crap to me. 4x is better looking, but i want 8x! my af is set to 16x, and i dont know why there isnt an option for 8x in the pull down menu. Heres my specs:

p4 @3.6
bfg 6800gt @ 400, 1100
p4p800e deluxe
1 gig ocz ddr 3500
forceware driver 71.20 or whatever.

The driver doesnt seem to matter because i switched back to an older certified 67.xx or something and i still couldnt do it. THANKS!

at hardocp.com they have benchmarks of it. and ive heard plenty of people in forums saying that they can select 8xaa and 16xaf. is that to much to ask for in life?

Perhaps you can force it in your video card preferences as opposed to letting the applications you use choose on an individual basis...

Try the omega drivers. They might support it. The official Nvidia ones don't.

So try the Omega drivers, a lot of people love them.
