Ok basically I bought half-life 2 bronze edition (hl 2 and cs-source) yesterday. I installed it played it updated it put in my cd key etc etc all worked fine. Now today I get home from work to find my steam list not responding to any servers. I clicked the internet tab thru the actual cs-source shotcut and it brought back a liust of servers where they couldent be responded. Anyway long story short i uninstalled half-life 2 and uninstalled steam, started fresh and reinstalled it all again. Now I double click the steam icon on my desktop or even if i double click the half-life 2 or cs source icon I get the screen where you can either log into an existing account or create a new account, so obvioulsy i go to log into an exisitng account and i get this message

So I checked the staus and low and behold it is fine so im left here not even able to play half-life let alone cs-source and i cannot login steam because its basically saying im trying to log in offline when im not. Im just wondering do you think this is an issue that is going to be resolved or will I have to do somthing about it myself? cause I have no idea what to do... any ideas? I havent even got to the stage wher ei type in my username and password, im at the screen before that one and it wont let me pass even if i try create a new account it says cannot create new account when in offline mode.
Help me please?
