hey guys i hope you are all right
today i was playing hl2 i am in "Black Mesa East" stage .
i found that Doctor lady Mossman i think it's her name she lead me to the elevator then she opened it when in enter she did'nt move and i couldn't push the elevator's button .
please help me guys .

Verify your game files with Steam (right click HL2, properties, files tab > verify integrity of game cache).

If this doesn't fix it - restart the chapter.

but the problem is that i dont have an internet connection

i am ok now when i get to the elevator i press F5 then it continues fine

Willing to bet money that you pirated the game. Anyway, if it happens again just noclip through the bits that don't work (type sv_cheats 1 and then noclip into console), or just load the next map (type map *** in console, where *** is the name of the map).
