I heard that a while back too, but it has no mention in the article.

Creator Matt Groening said last year that the animated hit would keep going as long as he and his colleagues could keep generating fresh ideas.
Anyone else find that amusing?

Sounds neat tho

Rainier Wolfcastle is actually going to be played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The rules that constrain other men,
Mean nothing to McBain.
The punches that bring pain to other men,
Mean nothing to McBain.
McBain! McBain! McBain!

Dear World,

April Fool's Day is over. Stop. Just... stop. :(

Love,
Yuri

In other news I'm quite sure that The Simpsons will indeed be an (animated) movie, although I question the possibility of it actually being good.

It's Raziaar fool's day every day!

Its true...I work at a movie theater and we have trailers in for it that go on movies. So it's no joke.

There is a movie but I think it is animated... anyone seen the new advert in the UK btw? With real people? Thats cool.

Considering the last thing I heard at the end of last year was that the script was still unwritten, I find that highly unlikely.
Also, films are sent out "pre-packaged" as such with trailers tacked on the beginning I am dis-inclined to agree with you.

I'd be happy to be proved wrong though.

Well if what you're saying is true, that is awesome. Have you seen it yet?

True. Me and some homies went to see Ice Age 2 last night and when we walked in the trailer for The Simpsons was running. And yes, it was animated.

Pffttt...I stopped caring/watching the simpsons almost 8 years ago when Brad Bird left. As soon as he and a couple of other key members left, it became so shallow.
