I'd like to buy Microsoft Visual C++ .NET. I'd like to know if the Standard Edition ( ~100 USD ) if good enough to make mods for HL2? I won't buy it right now as I have to find the money for it.

However, tell me if I'll do the right choice to buy VC C++ .NET Standard Edition... Thanks.
