Please Vote: Should Art Contest Continue???

Due to the lack of response / the lack of entries in this weeks art/photoshop contest, tim is thinking of closing it, or at least giving a break.
But the only way to decide how popular it is is a poll right?
so plz plz plz give ur opinion in this poll. thx

i personally think we should continue the art contest till the end of time (or at least until xen invades). This poll will continue for 7 days, or we get a large enough response

It doesn't cost anything to run and that is generally why things carry on or get "axed".

in my opinion it is what the art + design forum has that none of the others have: a small amount of freindly rivalry. Thats what i like about it- and thats y i am going to enter in it until it stops.

Well, I let the entries stay open a few days and still not much was submitted. Unless I get an overwhelming response, I think that it might be time to close the art contest. We just aren't getting much interest in it anymore

I just wanted to play the devil's advocate and see who the diehards were . I wasn't really thinking of closing down the contest but I wanted to try and get the community involved in bringing it back to life. Since it's already almost wednesday though, using your idea starting now would only get a few entries. I think it's a good idea so I think we should just start sunday night. How's that sound?

Nah, I meant just having a few days off and then starting the contest on Sunday (1 day early). The contest will be creating a new HEV suit though, so you can start now if you want .

I remember some of the old stuff I've done for the art contest.... I think as a tribute to past art contests, I'm going to post a "Best of the Best" thread to showcase the artistic talents of this forum. It will take a while to post them all in there so I'll do it in shifts...
