Hi, I just installed Half Life 2 episode 1 and am very eager to play it. Unfortunately, although there are no graphical issues, the audio refuses to work. I have the same problem with other source games as well. Anybody, have any idea of whats going on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My sound device is: SB Live! Wave device
I also have 5.1 surrounds speakers.
Also, is there anyway of troubleshooting this without going through all the trouble of updating and disabling sound cards?
