Pointless blog debates

Ever find yourself getting into em? Heh. If so, provide links! I want to see what kind of things we all get caught up in debating stupidly about in places where it doesn't matter at all.

I once randomly encountered this Bear Grylls blog about how he's a fake... and got caught up for a while in debating these morons who could only fathom up responses insulting me and calling me a fag. Priceless.

EDIT: Ugh. Okay I posted this thread when I was really tired. Someone, please delete it unless you feel it has any merit for existing. I can't exactly see a lot of contributions to this thread, or really needing any since it's kind of a stupid thread.

The thread may be lame (or I might be) but I think we can turn this into something worth talking about. The bones in my closet, if only you knew . . .

There's an internet discussion forum at "CarDesignNews.com" which has been overrun with kiddies and those insecure about their profession. My car design work has advanced a LOT since those days, but even back then my work overshadowed the crap that was regularly posted over there. I guess they saw me as a huge threat, even though I wasn't egotistical and didn't want their lame over-sought jobs designing headlights for Ford. They flamed me no matter what.

Eventually it stopped bothering me, and occasionally I'd totally play off the image they were trying to give me & it would be like using a hornet's nest as a (European) football.

If you like death threats so much I can redirect some of mine to you. How about that. Alternatively you could ask any moderator on SUF or any Valve employee. I'm sure they will be willing to share.
