Hong Kong-based Ania Przeplasko, the founder of the International Pole Dancing Fitness Association, the sport's fledgling supervisory body, believes Olympic recognition is only a matter of time and would be a victory for underappreciated sports worldwide.
"The Olympic community needs to acknowledge the number of people doing pole fitness now. We're shooting for 2012."

Mark that on the calendar Vegeta. :dork: This is as bad as that funny new show "The Marriage Ref": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUZoQlRA5CM Guy is trying to convince his fat wife to put a stripping pole in the living room as it's an "exercise pole".

please, for the love of god, don't give fat girls an excuse to pole dance

Nobody in the olympics is fat, Tyguy. Don't worry, you won't see any of them.

Also hool, I'm more into Asian belly dancers like Kathy.

they won't make the olympics, i'm talking about the fatties who aspire to be on the olympics and thus separate the slutty type of dancing with what they deem as "training"...

But why should that matter to you? Do you have cameras installed on random poles in the world that you are forced to watch?

I mean at least the fatties would be working out.

perhaps i'm worried about the pole's structural integrity and the fact that hot, bulimic girls are being sidelined...what an awful premise.
