Police choppers have a mighty strong light..

So I was peering out the window and I hear a ton of noise. I went outside as I thought it was someone fourwheeling down the road, but it was a police helicopter strafing the neighborhood.

I went outside and suddenly the spotlight darts to me. A bit of advice: Looking straight at that beam is bad for the eyes . Anyway, after staring me down for about 5 seconds, they took the light off of me and realized I wasn't the perp.

Eventually the chopper focused the light on an abandoned trailer that's near my house. When they shined the light on it, I could see even from my house people scurrying away. Cop cars moved in but they LOST the guys!

The cop cars basically frantically drove down the roads glaring the spotlights everywhich way, looking into the openness.

So.. that's unnerving. The chopper has left but cars are still about looking around.

We called the police station and they said "We're just searching for some people with some traffic violations. However, we implore you, please immediately make sure all your windows and doors are locked and do not unlock them, thanks." So we figured they just didn't want to scare anyone

The thing is that I live in Golden Valley, the desert is filled with greasewoods/tons of desert brush

Easy to run through pretty much, but cars can't go there, so even if the chopper had them followed, they'd have no way to get to them except to follow along as close as possible by a road

Bah, for the last few days we have had some idiots set fire to the bins outside nextdoors house, so firetrucks been waking me up, and last night the idiots covered the sidewall of the house in petrol, pretty frightening as if it had been set alight, the house would of been burned to the ground as the walls are pretty thin, PLUS its connected to our house, so we would of burned too. All in all, they suck. I think its nextdoors kids doing it..

Its all abit weird, we only moved here a month or so ago, the nextdoor peeps say its there dad who does not live with them anymore, as he was a psycho who beat up the kids, they say its them doing it.

We phoned the police and asked them to come over and talk to us, they did and when we said about the dad, they said he is on holiday now, not even in the UK.. >_>

Got more info:

Guy got pulled over on a road near my house.. he continued driving, turned onto another road. He then stopped abruptly and two people fled, they outran the deputy. Deputy called in Canine unit who sniffed down the car and were led to a lady hiding in a shack, had heroin syringes and stuff. The guy got away and that's who they were looking for for so long. So he's still out here abouts with felony warrants.
