Poll Editing?

Sometimes when I create a poll, I forget something or need to change something or something like that, and cannot edit it.. Why? Is it even possible?

I know the chances of someone creating a poll, then changing in to their favor (eg. their choice has lowest, and they switch names with highest), but does it really matter? It's a poll and doesn't mean much..

Only Super Mods and above can edit polls I think.

Yes, I know, but why would it be so bad to be able to edit our own polls?

Maybe not even edit, maybe just add options. That's generally the only thing I'd want to do, anyways..
