Porcupine Tree

Recently discovered this amazing band, and I'm liking I've heard so far (mainly songs from their Deadwing album).

Anyone here a fan? Any recommendations for other songs?

PT are excellent. Saw them live recently with Robert Fripp 'supporting' them, was amazing. Apparantly Steve Wilson is doing a project with Dream Theater and Opeth which will be super fantastic.

For songs to get, I recommend 'Trains' or 'The Sound of Muzak' from the In Absentia album. Well, the entire album is good, so I recommend buying that really.

Deadwing was abit hit and miss to me; some excellent tracks and some that didn't really attract my attention.

All I know is that Steve Wilson has worked with Opeth before while producing their albums, and has been some influence on them. I also hear that Porcupine Tree are excellent, but I have yet to listen to them.

Yeah, Wilson did some vocals (and I think guitar and keyboard work) on one of the Opeth albums. Forgot what album it was, though.
