Port Forwarding for BT

Does anyone know what ports I should forward for the best speeds on BitTorrent? I usually get like 7-10kb/s on a cable modem...that can't be right. Also, do the ports change based on the program or do all BT's use the same ports?

EDIT: It seems BitTorrent uses ports 6881-6999.

Thanks...I forwarded those ports, and I'm still getting ridiculously slow downloads, no matter which torrent I try. Any other possible reasons for this?

lower yur upload speed. all that crap about your download=upload speed is full of bullshit. i limit my upload at 3 kB/s. Lowest constant download i get is 50 kB/s. Highest i ever seen it go is 300ish. IM on a dsl line w/1.5mbps.

try disabling firewalls, or getting a different client.
Azureus is very good and it only needs one port (6881 i think, but its in the help)
