Hi,
I'm using Orange Livebox but I am having trouble port forwarding.
So far I have done this, and I want to know if I can do anything else/if I done anything incorrect. Some people can't join my server, and I am not sure why.

I have followed instructions on www.portforward.com but people are unable to join my Garry's Mod listen server.

If you want any more information, just ask :)

I just tore my hair out over this, and it started working randomly. I have no clue as to port forwarding. Those instructions made mine work, but I just ignored the static IP bit and stuck in my own ip - did you find yours by running cmd and using ipconfig?

I don't know off the top of my head which ports need to be forwarded for steam servers but who can't connect to your server? Are you sure you aren't trying to test these inside your own network? It will only work on the outside.

And is there a reason you are forwarding the UDP port 27000-27015 twice? Shouldn't that be set to TCP instead? You have some other ports in there twice also. If you aren't sure if it needs to be UDP or TCP add an entry for both.

Which specific instructions did you follow that tell you to forward those specific ports? If you are not trying to test port forwarding inside your own network, which will never work because of nat, then I think your problem is the fact you seem to be forwarding everything twice. Instead of forwarding 27000 twice on UDP forward it once on UDP and once on TCP. Having a few extra open ports isn't going to hurt anything if you are not sure of wether to open TCP or UDP.

I did it!
I had to go into Orange Livebox Firewall and turn it down to 'low'.
The 'low' option told me to use that one to play games over the net.

Thank you if any of you helped! :D:D:D:D:D
