Portal 2 Issues

I recently installed Portal 2 on my computer, but it refuses to work. My computer meets all of the minimum requirements, but I am only able to watch the extras, look at Robot Enrichment, and edit my options. As soon as I try to start up a co-op/singleplayer game, Portal 2 closes without any warning. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

Right click the game in your library and go to its properties. Then click this button.

Also make sure your video drivers are up to date.

I validated my files, but now, when I try to start a game, Portal 2 closes and says that I am out of OS Paged Pool Memory. Any idea how to fix this?
