Portal issues

I have been enjoying playing Portal for the past few days but all of a sudden I cannot open it up. It will attempt to load and then it will readjust my screen resolution a few times then an error message will come up saying it has to close. Here are the details of the message:

First off, check all yo drivers is up to date... But you have a pretty good system, not sure what's up with that...
