Portal Sound Loop

Whenever my game is loading and when I die in Portal and the map is reloading my sound decides to loop but once it's loaded up the looping stops and sound continues as normal. Not a huge problem but is there any way for me to fix it?

Here's my specs:

Video: Nvidia 7950 GT x2
Sound: Audigy 2 ZS
CPU: Intel Core 2 6600 @ 2.40GHz

the only reason it would do that is because its still loading everything.

how much ram do you have?

I got 2GB of RAM and 1GB of Video RAM (incase ya needed to know)
