My ISP blocks ports 27000, etc. I can't change ISPs at this time because this is a free ISP. I am not trying to steal the game in any form.
I actually bought the game when it first came out, but it would not work because of the blocked ports. I spent many many hours and many headaches with support figuring that out. Also it was a huge hassle returning the game.
So is there a way I can play this game legally? You may ask why I don't pay and get a better ISP, well I am one person that likes to play games by myself not in groups on the internet. So for single player games why do I need a good internet connection? Also since this is the only game that has stupid copy protection that has blocked me in this way. So I simply buy and play other games that don't have this hassle.
BTW, if I still can't play it legally I will give up. Because there are better games out there and better ones coming out. By the time I can play this it will be too old looking to be worth it. I hate spending good money to be hassled by copy protection.
