Possibility for Portal 2

I was just thinking for a while. In the HL2 beta, there was a female assasin in some sort of cryochamber in the Borealis(I remember seeing a screenshot of this when the game wasn't even release)

Though that section of the game wasn't released, it is now confirmed that Borealis will make a return in Ep3. So what does this mean?

Well, first off we all know the Ship is (or was) registered to Aperture Science.
We also know Chell escaped from GLaDOS, but unfortunately we don't know what state she was in. For all we know, she was in a critical condition and unable to carry out any type of work without any lifesupport/aide.

Going back to the Assasin on Borealis, it is now possible that it could be Chell (the Assassin could be remodelled to reflect the change in backstory), basically in her new lifesupport suit (AKA Darth Vader), but if you release her, she may be able to ally with you.

Perhaps Portal 2 takes place as a prequel to HL2, maybe Chell in her new suit being tested for the first time, but only when the world starts to go to Hell. Finally not able to win, Chell is placed on the Borealis and disappears.

Somehow I don't think Valve even knew they were making Portal when the HL2 Beta was being run.

No, but not having included it provides them with that possibility.

Me thinks Valve had no clue Eli would be present in a sequel.
