I was thinking of using just the Nvidia Optimal Settings thing to OC but I only have the stock heatsink/fan. Here is a screenshot of my temp window. The temp usually doesn't go above 55C even with graphics pumped up in HL2. Do you think it is safe to OC some or just leave it stock?

The temperature is fine but you should OC only if you really need it. Otherwise it can shorten the life of your vid card. If you plan on changing your vid card in about 1 year, then you should have no problems, OC if you want.

I wouldn't do it, why overclock you have an blazing fast system (even your sig says so). You really don't need to overclock I would just leave it alone.

okie dokie, ill just leave it. Are than any tweaks to improve performance though??

TRUST me do not OC ur card with the stock heatsink....

to improve perfomance u can always try beta drivers but u gt weird errors in some of them like SUPER shiny bumpmapping or piss yellow water in halflife 2. i experimented for a while and just went back to the normal 66.93 drivers
