possible to abort compiling?

it's one of those moments again, when you recognize that you have to change an essential thing... a few seconds after starting the compile process... omg!

is there a possibility to abort compiling?.. tried every common key combination (esc, ctrl+c etc...).. nothing works so far... quite annoying.

ctrl-alt-delete and end the rad or vis or bsp process or whatever.
