Possible to hide all chat messages?

Is there anyway that I can set CS:S to hide ALL chat/team chat messages? I would set it up for my little brother, he plays other online games with me sometimes and isn't bad for his age, but I'd rather not introduce him to any new words since he's pretty young. (10)

woops, i was searching for stuff with chat in it.
And I don't see the big deal letting him play M games. I really don't care what words he learns either, I just don't want him telling his mom that his big brother taught him some swear words. She would get all righteous on me. :cheese:

It would also be nice to have an option to disable tags, I don't enjoy sitting down to play a game and have some adolescent jerk tag a large picture of someone having sex in front of me.

here in Finland when it came to stores it was 18+ but after a week in stores they gave it 15+

my opinion is that it should be 18+ and steam should have some age verification system... that would be cool
