Post here about funny little things going on with your computer.

For example: my new laptop has a remote. And my desktop has broken 2 motherboards.

Sometimes the internet lags for no reason as far as I can tell. In TF2 I can have a steady ping of 50 or so, then suddenly jump to hihg 200s for minutes at a time, then back down. Sometimes it turns itself off at night, but only on some nights. It also crashes during almost any game, after an hour or a few seconds into playing. Hurrah.

Oh, also, the speakers make everything a half-step higher than they really are, plus you can't just turn them up, it's like trying to find a radio station with a dial.

My computer works perfectly and always has. I guess that's a quirk.

I can hit the infamous brown note with my subwoofer. I just turn the bass all the way up, treble all the way down, set EAX environment controls to the "auditorium" preference, and crank the volume. It'll fix any constipation problem fs. A very therapeutic bowel exercise that works for me every time.

My repair job on my headphone wire came undone again so now I'm using crappy headphones until I fix my good ones...again.

I has no bass ;(

My stupid linksys router won't forward the ports I tell it to. It's not my isp or norton's firewall. So I have no idea how to fix it. I just said **** it and I hardwired my laptop to the cable modem.

If I use my microwave to cook something, my wireless internet immediately stops working until it's finished cooking.

Incidentally, I stay in the other room when it's cooking. thinking it might have a radiation leak or some-shit.

Microwaves use radio wave and infrared signals, to excite water and grease molecules, therefore, Non-ionizing, and impossible for humans to catch enough radiation energy to cause any type of generic diseases (Otherwise our food would also be contaminated with radiation). If there's any leak. Those protective films inside the microwave door usually outlast the microwave and if there's any radiations escapes; it won't harm a chicken . But the microwave will definitely cook you from inside out, if you stick your personal belongings in there.
On the other hand, most household WiFi routers also use (Yes! Radio signal) and they're very, very sensitive, and incapable of screening other radio signals (Cost and profit reasons). They can be interfered by other radio signals, even when the interfering radio signal is behind a protective microwave oven wall. This happens whenever the Wife transmitter (Router) is relatively close to a cellphone and other radio signaling devices.

Tomorrow the subject will be Radars. Please read your radar books on wikipedia pages.

Dismissed!!

That paragraph is so riddled with grammatical fuck-up-ery that it was difficult to read. You're a terrible teacher.

My computer is broken. Potential for a fail thread arriving.

One of the ports on my HD3870X2 is kinda loose, so sometimes my screen goes black and I have to push it up again. Pretty annoying, I'll swap it in once exams are over.

My computer has been rattling loudly for about a month, and I haven't turned it off in that length of time.

It drives me crazy, so I'm constantly listening to music to wash it out. I tried putting pressure on various parts of the case that could be lose, but it was futile.

I don't know how I'm going to figure out what is rattling without sticking my hand in there pushing on things when it's on.
