My Motherboard, A MSI model GNB Max Fisr is running my pc2700 (333mhz ddr) ram at 266mhz. There is no setting to change this in the Bios, how can i fix this?

Your mobo does not support 333Mhz on the FSB. Therefore the memory is underclocking itslef.

The only fix is to overclock you FSB by alot...or buy a new mobo.

Technically your FSB is 133x4=533 or 266x2=533 (not sure how that works ...i forgot:p)

Wich for your memory translates to 266mhz or DDR266/PC2100.

Yeah, your board probably only supports PC2100 memory.
intel's fsb is quad pumped (x4).
amd's athlon xp is double (x2).

That's just the fsb, not the memory although memory is usually set to match the bus speed.
So if the fsb is 133 then x2 for DDR memory (266 or PC2100).
