Power Outage in lots of BC.

Nor did I have a power outage.
 
I havn't even heard about it....weird.. So is it really that big? What's the cause?
 
Heres a tip. When a storm is uprooting trees, stay indoors.

I did. My house almost got hit by a tree, my kitchen, to be exact, but the wind blew it the other way just as it was about to fall, so it flattened my neighbors Mercerdes Benz.

we had a power outage at school yesterday, and some idiot kid pulled the fire alarm so we could all escape from school, but all we ended up doing was going out into the sleet and snow (first and probably only snow all year btw) for about 30 minutes and then the power came back on and we went back in.

Power outages are annoying.
 
I didn't lose power but I got ****ing soaked on Wednesday. It's was stupid wet and cold in Vancouver
 
don't they have big mudslides in NV? Or is that West Van? I am always confused about the difference between West Vancouver, the West End, and West Side. Anyways, my water is still brown from the resevoir being backed up. Makes for a nice musty earth smell after I take a shower
 
I live on Vancouver Island, around the Comox Valley. The most we got were winds up to 100km/h and a hell of a lot of rain. The power was out here for most of wednesday and a couple of hours today.

I slept a lot :\
 
We didn't get much wind at all here in Victoria. And we're by the water.
 
I'm still waiting for the "big one" that everyone is talking about to hit the West Coast. It's gonna be sick, and I'll do some mad looting cause I'm right downtown. First place is liquor store cause I figure I can get there in about 5 min running and it will get cleaned out fast. Then Aldo store to pick up some nice shoes, then hit up the grocery store. Stash stuff and then maybe help the injured people or something or go raid the cornerstore. Too bad MEC is so far away. I could walk to the Coast Mountain store and nab some stoves and shit.
 
So where are all you vancouver people coming from exactly? Did you all signup just to post in this one thread?

This is insane, every second person is from Vancouver in this thread.
