Man, it's been raining pretty hard round here the last couple of days (I think thesomeone knows what I'm talking about) and now my house has been losing power off and on since last night, and it's really annoying. I'm worried about the computers, I don't know if this could delete stuff or not. These worst thing about the outages is that you'll never know when they're gonna hap

If you didn't save progress, than yes, stuff will be deleted.

Get a surge protector then the pretty much the only thing to worry about is losing un saved info.

If lightning strikes a power line the surge would travel to your comp and fry it, so get yourself a surge protector if you don't have one.

Get a surge protector. Last summer I lost a mobo, a processor, AND a PSU to a particularly nasty surge. The same surge knocked out my friend's wireless network. ALWAYS use protection.

I found that I do have a surge protecter, it was just hiding, so I should be safe. The storms have pretty much stopped for now anyway. I do feel a little bit better about the situation... although I was mostly concerned wit hmy games :|

also, no one noticed my joke in the first post. blast.

If there was a powercut you wouldn't have been able to press the 'submit reply' button.

Lol

I just thought you got lazy typing and just wrote hap instead of happen.

But Dont think your completely safe with a surge protector. I have always used one, and one night a couple years ago my house was struck, and it fried the protector and my psu. Lucky the psu was the only thing to go.
