Can anyone tell me how to find how big my power supply is? I want to upgrade to a Geforce 7950 w/ 512mbs , which I believe requires a 500 watt PSU. I am currently running a Geforce 6800 w/ 256 mbs.

Easiest way is to pop the lid on your machine and have a look at the label on it.

Yeah there's a sticker on the PSU itself with all the necessary information. Though the thing more important than the wattage is the amps on the 12V rail. Check that specification as well.

It says my DC output is 350W, guess I better spring for a new one. Ah well.

Thanks for the advice. And on a different topic (sort of) I am upgrading my RAM as well. I did tigerdirects "memory configurator" and it comes up with suggestions for RAM that is a different speed, PC4200, while I have PC3200. Will that pose a problem?
