Pre buy a DS vs. Halo 2

I have the money for one or the other...(actually both, but i need some left over cash). Anyway, which would you do? Buy halo 2 and play that and ask for a DS for a 'holiday', or prebuy a DS and get it when it comes out on the 21st? (asking for halo 2 for xmas of course)

I'd buy Halo2 if I had an xbox tbh.

i would say halo2. i mean if you have an X-box.. i dont see why you would be too eager to get a DS. i agree it will be a great console, but evern so im sure you'll have more fun with halo2. my advice: wait till the DS is out, play a freinds one to see if you like it before buying it. i know this may seem pretty stupid advice... but handheld consoles are allways a bit of a letdown for me. all they end up doing is making me feel sick in car jeourneys and giving me terrible neck strain. /me sticks to PC, Xbox, Ps2 and Gamecube.

As much as I want a DS (an am definately buying one) none of the 'must have' titles are coming out at launch (well, maybe Mario Kart )

So, I'm going to get Halo 2 now, and then a DS around Chrsitmas time (with some kick ass games - it's all about Yoshi's Touch and Go )

This isn't an either/or situation - but more one of timing. (how could a gamer possibly go without a DS or Halo 2?? It defies belief )

k..i'll get halo. Some places in the midwest sold some copies early, and one guy sold the collectors edition on ebay for $260!...good thing i have that edition reserved =)

I'll ask for a DS for xmas. DS > PSP
