Pre-order thru net, or store?!

I usually always preorder games thru stores and pick em up the day they come out. Now what are u guys doing for doom3, Net pre-order, or pickup at stores pre-order.?? Which is better?

I've already pre-ordered and put $10 down at Gamestop, so I'll be getting it there. I'm not really sure which is better though, seems like you'd get it faster from a game store.

I don't do pre-orders... but I'd go with a store that usually gets games the day they come out as opposed to online, which has to ship...

cause it will be a very hot commodity... and i believe (i don't know for fact) that the Collectors Edition will be a limited version... so if u don't pre-order it..

then show up at the shop expecting to land a copy, don't be surprised if the salesperson tells u "sorry all the Collectors Editions have been pre-orderd" and are awaiting pick-up"

it happened right in front of me when i went to pick up my Collectors Edition of Diablo2... hehe

well i had a talk with the salesperson about pre-order policies.. and i made it clear that if there was a Collectors Edition available, then it would be my choice and thats when i was assured i would get to choose which version of the game i want when i go to pick it up
