And yes Bad^Hat, its really hard to picture it, his acting in this film better surprise me.
 
It looks a bit corny, like the tattoo'd asian guy who prefers to use a katana over a gun? Or the mexican badass with leather decorations on his guns? Then again the first predator had corniness like that too so maybe it's a throwback type deal.

Anyways it looks helluva lot better than the AvP movies.

I dunno, I think he'll be able to put on enough stoicism to pull it off. And if he doesn't, we always have Topher Grace, for whom I have a mancrush.

Adrian pulls off stoic in his ****ing sleep. Brody more like broody am I right. :p

Mostly just trying to picture him filling Arnie's shoes, but they couldn't be more opposite if Adrian was the governer of, like, whichever state has the least in common with California. Idunno.
 
I'm worried about how people are going to react to this, but oh well: I didn't like Arnie in the original, so my opinion is probably invalid.

Why does the first Predator in that gallery look like it has harlequin disease?

The one with the jawbone on his mask is an awful design. It looks like a perfectly fitting rubber appliance (which it is) rather than a jaw bone (which it is supposed to look like)

Also, I hate the AA-12 so much. And Topher Grace looks like Kevin from Sin City.

i really shouldn't have any interest in this film, but for some reason i feel strangely compelled to watch it one lazy night if just for trejo and fishburne. not even sure why for them, just... do.
 
well it looks better than any AVP film i guess, hopes still aint high tho
 
Looks like a pretty average action flick to me, might watch it.

Go watch his movie Kontroll (2003, Hungarian) which he wrote and directed and tell me that Nimrod Antal isn't the mother****ing MAN. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. When I first saw this trailer I rolled my eyes and thought of that disaster we like to call AVP but when I heard he's the director I got excited. It has a fighting chance at being awesome at least, although he's not writing it.
 
The fourth one looked that bad. Others seemed okay.
 
I have a feeling the fourth was cut together, it's too random.
 
I am intrigued. I am still not expecting much.
It does feel nostalgic though. I got to at least admit that.
 
It looks like it could be a good movie, but man, everything looks so clean compared to the original. On the positive side Brody seems to be taking to the tough guy role a lot better than I thought he would, despite being a bit serious. The fourth clip is cut together pretty badly though.

Also, are those explosive shells in the second clip? **** yeah, AA-12.

Also come to think of it, I just love it how preds are so damn resilient to bullets, yet they don't have anything protecting their ****ing chest except a fishnet... Makes perfect sense.
 
You fail to take into account the Yautja's protective aura of badass.
 
Not to mention he was shooting at the ****ing ground. :dork:

Might as well have dropped a battalion of storm troopers onto the planet, heh.
