Preload 8?

I just did number seven, which was around 3% in size from the previous, and i just loaded up my Steam about 2 minutes ago and double clicked on Half-Life 2. Its now downloading from 76%. Is there soemthing wrong with my Steam or is this another big installment?

I've done nothing to my Steam though, i didnt delete or add any files. It actually started at about 73% not 76% as i just said. Its chugging along at a slow rate and I've got 1 Mbit so it must be quite big. Hmm anyone else got anything yet?

Wtf? i think he is right. Just restarted Steam, double clicked HL2 from the play games list, and its now gone back to 61%. I had everything pre-loaded from before, hl2 CS;S etc..

dunno whats going on

EDIT: ignore that, its gone back to 97% now

Your files probably went corrupt and Steam redownloaded.

How do you make sure you have ALL of the preloads, cause i'm not sure i DLed the 7th correctly, I have the previous six.

It should download if it see's that you aren't completely updated...

Restart Steam.. It should check your files and download any missing ones.
