preventing Spectators?

..hm if i create a secrit in a map and i dont want spectators to go thru the wall and see the secrit. but i whant living players to be able to go to the secrit? ...get me?
Any idea on how to do this?
 
Don't think it can be done actually. The only way to not let spectators view it is if there are no visleaves leading to it (aka a nodraw room with a nodraw room inside of it, in which there are textures, I think that's how it worked).
 
Well, since Spectator is a valid team, you might be able to surround the easter egg with a spectator-activated trigger_multiple that teleports the spectator back into the map or forces him to disconnect or something.

moahaha that sounds sooo mean :p

.. donno but i think ive seen de_dust or something that prevents specs to go far far out of the map or something donno.. (keeping specs inside the walls of the map)
 
i couldn't get a teleport trigger to teleport a spectator. The spectoator doesn't seem to activate the trigger.

Bit off-topic, I tried a trigger_look. Spectators wouldn't activate that either, but while testing, I noticed that using a filter_activator_team wouldn't filter to T or CT either (both teams still triggered it) ... If anyone knows why this wouldn't work let me know. :)
 
i got the filter for t/ct to work. you know you have to use it with a trigger right? and set the filter that way? just making sure the answer isn't obvious.
