Hi guys.

I used to buy stuff from TigerDirect and Newegg. I'm upgrading (Yes Again) and today I was shopping for a bargain, I took a look and guess what I have stumbled upon.

I went attacking the two most two popular websites and one I recently heard about, shopping-carted three identical items at each site, a system-board, a CPU and a V-Card, (remember these are identical items).
The savings are phenomenal. here take a look.

ZipZoomFly http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ShoppingCart.jsp

TigerDirect http://www.tigerdirect.com/cgi-bin/ShoppingCart.asp?msg=

Newegg http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/Shopping/ShoppingCart.asp?submit=UpdateShipMethod
They ran out of 7900 but here is it at it's backorder site http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150136

ZipZoomFly $1540.98
Newegg $1544.99
TigerDirect $1669.97

Before shipping.

I think Zipzoomfly will have permanent spot in my bookmark, I guess.

wow. four dollar savings. truly amazing :D

this sounds like an ad ;P

$4.00 saving is amazing my friend.

Here, let me add something something here and there

ZipZoomFly free Shipping
NewEgg $6.44 Shipping (no V-Card)
TigerDirect $31.96

It adds up, a $4.oo will be $10.00 or $31.00 before your eyes.

This is not an ad since I'm not getting anything for this and I don’t work for anyone of the above, and this is the first time I ever talk about it as I’m upgrading, but when some one finds something, it is nice to share with others
Who knows, some one else might be ugrading too, and we are a community here. ;)

ZZF is the best out of all those companies. They normally have the cheapest prices.

I like zipzoomfly and newegg the best over other sites since they both have very good prices. Although i always order through Newegg because of how well they do their shipping and quality service. ;)

Newegg>Zipzoomfly IMO
As far as price between the two, it really depends on what you order. Some stuff is cheaper on newegg and some stuff is cheaper on zipzoomfly.

yeah, I always go through newegg even if their prices are a bit more expensive.

why?

well, if anything goes wrong I always know I can just ship it back to newegg and they'll fix it.

How dare you! Newegg gave you a bunch of stuff, and you back-sass them? Loyal to the max.

There is never a "one stop shop" for the best prices.
Different sites will always have a better deal than another site.
You just need to blanace out: parts costs, shipping cost, and the resellers reliability.

from my experiance... All website shippers, besides newegg, always screw me over somehow.. I remember pricewatch.com ... Its bad news, their shippers and suppliers for the products on the website, are mostly bad shippers, weird companies and have retarded return policies. I agree, that newegg is the most reliable of all of the websites. My friend uses zipzoomfly, but I think untill newegg dogs me, I will stick with them. I have orded full computers, all seperate in package. They all came (sometimes longer cause of the ups guy) good intact and working. Even an LCD monitor. No Burnt out pixles... I am Overall Very happy with neweggs service, and am willing to pay 5-10 dollars more for their service...

Since the time to edit my original post has expired, let me be more specific as to how much the savings are, surely more than $10.00 I hope.
These are the hardware I’m trying to upgrade. Remember all items are identical; same manufacturer, same spec and are the same darn thing.

I’m sure that Tiger Direct is sure out of my Bookmark, but the thing that I like about them is that, they never run out of stuff, and if they do, their re-supplying is fairly fast.

I hate tiger direct ..their retail stores are shit, they charge more for high end stuff than any other retailer and only have decent prices on crap you wouldnt normally buy. TD is on my "never buy from them again" list

Tigerdirect is terrible: SO MANY REBATES, most of which don't ever go through.
Stick to ZZF and newegg....
