Has anyone seen the movie "Primer?" It came out sometime in 2004. It had less than a $7000 budget. No-name actors, no cgi, no special effects and very little action. Everything I like in a movie. In a nutshell it's about time travel. It is by far the most thinking-intensive movie I've ever seen. It's 100 times more complicated than Momento, Donnie Darko or any other movie you may think requires a lot of thought. Some movies spoon feed you. This movie gives you nothing. It's only about an hour and seventeen minutes long. This is a good thing though because you'll feel overwhelmed after it. I'm on my third viewing and I'm still piecing it together.
I can't recomend it to any of my friends because they require Hollywood style action and CG, stomach turning Hollywood actors and being spoon fed every little detail. I would recommend it to anyone that really likes time travel theories and likes to be challenged mentally with their movies. Again, it's a very small budget film but worth a viewing if you like that sort of thing.
I need someone to discuss this one with and need reccomendations for other movies that might fit this mold.
