Prince of Persia 2 title revealed? *Gasp* /me dies

It seems like they're really hyping up the "warrior" aspects for this one. Fighting and whatnot. Personally, I thought the beauty of the PoP: SoT were the sections where you weren't fighting. Just running around doing acrobatics was so refreshing. I hope they keep that aspect of the game intact.

I'm sure thats still in there, as its the game's core. But the "weakest" (was n't really all that weak) part of the game was fighting, so thats what they're improving this time around.

Wow, nice title.

Just completed the first one for the third time yesterday and I can't wait for the second. Sure hope for the PC version they took a good long look at the way the camera and angles work, because that was one of only 2 problems I had with the game sometimes... that and it often felt they put loads of beasties infront of you to make your health as low as possible for the next bit (with no water in sight).

Now, they are combing the plattforming parts with the puzzles and fights in some areas.

In many interviews(With IGN, Gamespy etc...) with Yannis Mallat, he mentions that the free-form fighting system will let you build some kind of 'personal' style and the enemy fights will be tougher as they can do combos and are more agressive...they can roll and etc...
Yannis also mentioned that there will be more boss fights. You can take a secondary weapon (temporary) and you can use almost everything to your advantage with the FFF (free-form fighting) system; using other weapons, throwing swords, swinging around pillars and etc...

I liked the fighting, especially once I got good at the block/absorb move.
It's called the counter-retrieval...Try the aerial retrieval but not on the blue guys.

I have the pc version of POP:SOT - and for a pc platformer, it's controls were tight and responsive. I miss the days when platforming games were on PC - now they are so much better with a xbox/ps2 controller.
