Prince of Persia: Kindred Blades official website updated. New screenshots.

*sniff* i want the old pop:sot times style environments.

still will get it though.

Man. After 'Warrior Within' considering that it looks like they're going for pretty much the same tone in this iteration I have to say I'm really not all that excited about this game. I mean yeah I'll buy it for sure because I bought the other two, but the series lost it's charm with the Sands of Time imo.

Geez, they're really milking this now. Too bad people will buy it even though it will play exactly the same way.

If you guys have any concerns, you can go to the IGN forums and someone who works there will answer any of your questions. His name is: Ubi_Prince.
He'll do his best to answer your questions.

I kinda feel sorry for the devs tbh, cos they do seem like a pretty genuis bunch of charachters. I mean POP1 blew me away and after the success it had now it just seems like Ubi are getting all EA on their asses and saying "we want a game a year!", which would make anyones creativity lessen.

I don't know, I thrpought WW would suck, but it didn't, it was intersting, yes it had the overdoen badass dark theme, but it was still a kickass game, good gameplay , good story, and it was intersting to see this side of the prince, and I didn't think he was arrogant at all, I thought he was more arrogant in sot, in ww he hada lot of compasion especially for kaileena.
So I'm exited about this, I think it's still going to kick ass, and anyone who liked sot, but won't buy this one because of them whoring themselfes out, is going to miss a great game.

Don't get me wrong I did enjoy POP:WW, but I found it repetative doing the same thing twice (abeit in two different time frames) and I always found myself wondering what the hell I was supposed to do next (unlike SOT where the route seemed pretty clear).

I think they're taking away the backtracking and the game will be more open. I don't think you'll be wandering around thinking about what to do next.
