I didn't get a feeling of excitement or wonder from anything in that trailer, it looked quite... boring to be honest.

I'll wait for another trailer as it nears release before completely dismissing it.

You guys are ****ing retarded if you're justifying a movie because it seems like it could be mediocre in a good way. This is a video game movie, there's no real inspiration in it except money. You know that. So why are you still clinging to hope pretending it might actually be some kind of really good movie?

I think you guys might be forgetting the source material. While I'd make the argument that there's always room for improvement, it's not like Prince of Persia has a whole lot of depth to begin with.

This looks like a movie Hollywood created which they're trying to appeal to non gamers I think. I'm sure many who have played the game will watch this movie (I will since I can see it for free with my friend) but for those who are in love with the game they'll cry fowl. Trust me this movie will be no Doom movie, it looks like it has a backbone

Actually, I have played Sands of Time, and from the trailer it does seem true to the source material. everyone's so quick to say it will suck just because it's a movie based on a game.

Aw lame, from the little flash at 41 seconds I thought it was Omid Djalili, but on further inspection it isn't. Come to think of it, I'd see this movie day one if he was the prince instead of Gyllenhaal.
