Like I give a damn. I just thought you guys would've wanted to know. 8.7 and 8.8. Not bad.
Pretty good score.
I'm definetely getting this game, this game is getting pretty good scores with all the bitching fans and pussy critics whining about the same damn thing.

Pretty good review and for the most part what they say is correct. The darker tone doesn't feel quite as good as the first game and the rock music can get annoying at times. Activating the time portals can be a pain in the ass too.

Well, I just bought the game, seems pretty fun... like a mix between the classic Zelda games and Enter the Matrix... I just hope they don't screw up the camera work.

dont you already have the game china?you told me to get it and you dont even have it lol.anyway aside from a really annoying bug that wont crashes the game to desktop at the new game menu its good fun,im just at the hangin garden section, beautiful design and artistry, the reason i love the series

I've got it for Gamecube and I'm enjoying it (stuck at that damn gargoyle boss though). I don't mind the dark theme at all; I think it works very well. However, the camera can be more awkward than the first and that rock music has a strange habit of playing at the most inappropriate times.

Damn fine game though. I like it more than the first and I loved the first game.

yeah if they ironed out the bugs it would be really special, i found this major glitch where after i saved i was playing as the sand wraith and i had jumped forward way ahead in time, its also not always clear where to go

Never played the original (unless you count the classic one on the sega master system ;)) but brother bought it for some reason havent got very far and im already stuck but I love the fighting, its so fast. I love it :D

Happened to me as well. I was barely anywhere though, so I just restarted my game. I think it might have had something to do with my memory card and not having enough space left, so I'm using a different one.

Here's a little note:
There has been this glitch that has been bothering the Prince of Persia: Warrior Within community.
Appearently, when people load a saved game, they turn into the Sandwraith.
First of all, when you go to a time portal that has NOT been activated, do NOT save your game. First of all, activate it and then save.

Worst Makeover - Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

What do you do when your beautiful, well-designed, critically acclaimed game doesn't quite hit the sales numbers you were hoping for? You toss out the wit, rip out the charm, and transform your fairytale dreamworld into a dark quagmire of blood and despair. Oh, and make the hero a jerk and toss in some T&A too. Might as well if you've gone this far. Sadly, this was exactly what happened with Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Ubisoft's anticipated sequel to last year's surprisingly solid Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Why? The designers insist that the changes were conceived with purely artistic intentions, rather than thanks to a mandate from Ubi. Given how much I dislike the changes and that the same group was responsible for the charming, dream-like atmosphere of the original, I can only wonder how true this is. But let's take it at face value. Okay, so the developers wanted to uglify everything. Goth is in, after all! So what did it accomplish?

Precious little, in my estimation. A few new moves add to the platforming and combat, but repetitive level design, awful music and far too many bugs go a long way toward killing this franchise's appeal. It's worth noting that our PC editor disagreed slightly; he liked the music.

!
Exactly!

Didnt like the style of the game. Just not my thing. + 3rd person = i hate.

It's pretty good :) but not as good as the first - it's become more cliched, more generic.

Still, worth a purchase.
