Printer Problems

I just recieved a Lexmark 3100 printrio printer/scanner/copier combo and am having a problem. Every time i try to install the drivers, i recive an error message that says : "The section resource cannot locate a needed INF file." ive tried reinstalling the drivers and still get the same message. I will try to get the drivers off the net and hope that will work. but otherwise i will probally reformat. please help me in any way possible.

2) **** lexmark, get the receipt refund it and buy HP, ive had lexmark, trust me, **** it to death.

Um as for drivers, can you point for it to look in a folder?
Search on your PC for the file and point where it is. May be on the CD even.

wow are they really that bad?!?! i do a lot of work with computers and software, but i dont really know which printers work.

personally i hate lexmark from experience, i currently have a 4 in1 or 5 in 1 officejet hp printer v40 i think, printer, fax, copy and scan all in one. its a charm, prints full pages of text in about 5 seconds, thats pretty fast man, unless u wanna get laster and u can print 5 pages with full text in 5 seconds or less.

oh by the way, i love ur setup, ull run hl2 with no probs, GOD I LOVE HL2, i wake up everyday with so much excitement, i cant wait till my pc is built and hl2 is available. can you guys?

ok I fixed the problem. it required me to point every file to my com but i found it. thanks for the suggestions.

oh thanks, hey, you wouldnt happen to answer this, but counter strike keeps buggin out on me. its doing things like just shutting off on me. or when i hit esc to open the menu, all i get is a black screen. i know its a problem with cs and D3D, but its only cs thats doin that

D3D?! Try using OpenGL, works better for me. I have heard that in most older games, D3D has issues on newer cards? Meh, give OpenGL a whirl see how it does...

ya man if u can use opengl most of the time, even in tribes 1 i use opengl, d3d is no good to me
