prison break question *spoliers possible

Hey, I've missed the past 2 episodes and can someone sum up to me what I have missed? Last I saw was they were outside of the town where they were going to dig up the gold, and they realized that there were houses over the place to dig.

So if someone can fill me in that would be great.
