Fans will still have to wait for official word on a fourth-season pickup, but for those who only need unofficial word, news over the weekend was great. On his MySpace blog, Prison Break executive producer Nick Santora dished this bit of info: Season four has been picked up.
Sauce.

I am very excited to hear this, Prison Break being one of my favorite shows! :D

They'd of been stupid to of said no to a fourth season, esp. after...

... the end of season 3. It sets it up perfectly.

Hurrah, anyway. I enjoyed season 3 - not so much as season 1 or 2, though.

[UPDATE?March 25] Fox made it official today: Prison Break is coming back for a fourth season. The network also confirmed that production will move from Dallas to Los Angeles.

Season three was a bit of a letdown for me. The whole Sona escape seemed a bit pointless. This may or may not be attributed to the WGA strike. But in any case I'm looking forward to it.

Also "shocking" news of a returning character! (maybe shocking for some... kinda lame if you ask me)

One of the most notable and talked about deaths in Prison Break history is about to be undone, as TV Guide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Sara Wayne Callies is returning to the series in Season 4 as Dr. Sara Tancredi.

Ausiello spoke to the show's executive producer Matt Olmstead, who explains how they're going to get out of the rather major dilemma of Sarah being decapitated last season. We saw Sara's head in a box in Season 3, but Olmstead reveals "Yeah, that wasn't [her]"

Season 3 was cut short because of the WGA strike. That was no excuse for the last episode though.
Yeah, it looks like Sarah Tancredi will be returning in the next season.Talk about jumping the shark.
I'd rather see the Paul Kellerman character make a return, since his death was never confirmed.

Wasn't Kellerman convicted after his testimony at Sara's trial?

Oh, yeah. Completely slipped my mind. Meh, they obviously left it open ended so that in the future when the writers are running out of ideas and the ratings are falling, Kellerman will come back and kick everyone's ass.

Kellerman was pretty fkn hardcore.

I can't wait for this 4th season.
