Pro evolution?

Never seen a thread on this...but does anyone play online on their PS2? I play every now and then but I get sick of people quitting half way through games cos they are losing, n occasionally you get the odd cheater.

Must be the few odd UK/EU peeps that play this! Anyone ever feel like a game against a non-twat gimme a PM on ere. (Pro 8 on PS2 just so ya know)

Hopefully this won't turn into a pro vs fifa argument, cos we all know pro is better

I play it every other day or so. I have the PC version though.

Well as most people know who idle in the hl2.net steam chat, I play Pro Evolution religiously, been playing since the first one. I play on PC too now, not because of online play but moreso for the modding from the community.

Kitserver from juce is incredible, I use it alongside the Evolution II patch, but I'm updating to the T Patch as we speak, for the summer transfers. I've start dabbling in face making for the game too.

Unfortunately PES2008 has had the worst gameplay of them all, after moving to the advanced gen engine, including making the online mode so laggy it was pointless playing online. PES2009 demo out on PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusively in a couple days, lets hope Konami have got their finger out and fixed all their problems. Shipping PES2008 without wide-screen support!? Oh please!

ah PES 09 is coming out soon? fantastic. been considering getting a 360 for uni for some pro sessions.

Yeh, Pro 8 wasn't as good as good as Pro 6 to be fair. Hopefully they'll make some changes in this demo.

That beta thing sounds interesting tho, I'll give that a try.

Seabass has confirmed that this year's version of PES won't be the 'next-gen' PES we've been waiting for Apparently 2010 will be. Most likely as they will drop PS2 support by then which seems to be a reason for the shoddy next gen start. Honestly **** last gen casuals.

I'm keeping more of an eye on FIFA 09 tbh. Looks incredible atm.
